Whilst perusing the many blogs and whatnot that I keep track of on the interwebs, I came across this lovely artist, Irana Douer. This is my favourite sort of artwork. It's a bit reminicent of the Decemberists' crane wife artwork. Or maybe it's just fantastic in it's own right. Or both.

these are reminiscent of the crane wife, but they aren't exactly the same. which i like. i like the decemberists' artwork, but this is really unique and pretty.
