Morning Glory

Where have all the flowers gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the flowers gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the flowers gone?
Girls have picked them every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

Where have all the young girls gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the young girls gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the young girls gone?
Taken husbands every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

Where have all the young men gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the young men gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the young men gone?
Gone for soldiers every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

Where have all the soldiers gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Gone to graveyards every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?

Where have all the graveyards gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the graveyards gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the graveyards gone?
Covered with flowers every one
When will we ever learn?
When will we ever learn?

Les enfants seuls savent ce qu'ils cherchent.

Only children know what they are looking for

Probably the best book I've ever read. I love it. I really recommend reading it, whether it be in French or English, or what ever other language you want. I've actually read it in English, French, and Mandarin. And it's just as great in each language. Really, it's a great book. Imaginative, witty, and great for people of all ages. Plus, the illustrations are great. Really, I recommend it highly.

Talking to stars

I'm actually really curious about this film, Telstar. It's about the Tornados, which is the band that Muse frontman Matt Bellamy's father was in. Anyway, here's the trailer, it looks great:

I'm a Shakespeare nerd...

I was recently watching the 1995 film of Richard III (really good, by the way, I recommend it), and since I'd just been in a production of the same play, I thought it would be interesting to watch it again, since I'd watched it before I knew the play as well.
Now let me tell you, I pretty much spent the whole time obsessing over lines that were cut out or changed, and it was quite enjoyable. I'm a Shakespeare nerd, I admit.

Actually, the announcer's voice really annoys me...But, what can you do?

Dressing up and out.

Things that I'm kind of lusting over at the moment:

The cutest thing ever. And it looks so edible too.
Photo from the Epicute blog. It's my favourite blog to look at the baked goods and wish I could eat wheat...

Summer in Siam

Probably my favourite song of the moment. It's got a lot of nostalgic value for me, and also, it's a great song.

The Pogues - Summer in Siam

Video Killed the Radio Star

For your consideration:
Florence and the Machine - Rabit Heart (Raise it Up)
A lovely fantastical video.

Ida Maria - Drive Away My Heart
(seeing a common theme here? I just realized it now, so you didn't actually have to notice)

People these days...

May I present to you:
This
The funniest thing since sliced bread...which isn't all that funny...Or "
Pharaoh forced the Hebrew slaves to make bread without straw. Moses led them to the Red Sea, where they made unleavened bread, which is bread made without any ingredients."
So as funny as invisible bread? Who knows? there are some great bloopers in here, and it's definitely worth the read.

Beauty is in the eye of the bee-holder (pun intended)

I happened upon TrebleBee mostly by chance.
I was surfing the web, desperately looking for some good
Music when, while looking
At artists related to Muse, I
Guess I just clicked on a random
Image of album art that looked interesting, and
Now, I'd like to share with you the
Epicness of TrembleBee:

They're a swedish rock band that hasn't gotten as much recognition as they deserve. With witty, masterfully written lyrics and music that mixes a variety of rock genres into cleverly created songs, well, just see for yourself.

The first day of the rest of my life.

I've decided to write a blog.
No reason why, just thought it would be
A
good way to express my

Deepest thoughts, and all that jazz.
Vivid images are not what I intend to
E
xpress, but I suppose they will

Remain an easy way to show
T
hings that I can't find the words for.

Especially when my blog entries are all
N
onsense, really.

T
hough I do try to write things that make sense.

Au revoir. xx
